Clint was nice enough to stop by a fancy pants grocery store in Denver just for this jerk sauce. (which, by the way, is the BEST jerk sauce you will ever try aside from flying to Jamaica and getting the real thing.)

We took the kids to the Nature and Science Museum in Denver today. Who knew one of the coolest things we would see would be in the parking lot. Thats a REAL electric car charging station! Like, is your electric car in need of a charge? Park here, swipe your card, charge, and GO!

#12 Holiday Cards

This year I was a total slacker and didn’t send a single holiday card out. I have this strange love for the post office and mail in general. It is such a wonderful feeling giving and receiving holiday cards. Knowing that someone sat down and put pen to paper and stopped to think about you. So I want you all to know that I am thinking of you and hope that all of you have a truly magnificent 2012.

I promise, next year I am sending cards.

(When we do send cards, Clint usually designs it. This is one of my favorites from a couple years ago.)

#10 the countdown

I have been moving that little mouse since I was a wee little kid. Now my kids are moving the mouse and desperately wanting to just make that mouse jump to the 24th. And then it happens, it’s Christmas!!!! Ahhh! Happy Christmas everyone! I hope that you may hold onto the excitement and anticipation of Christmas all year long. I wish I could bottle that energy and sell it on eBay.

#9 Dessert!

Clint’s mom made us homemade Tiramisu for Christmas dessert. I cannot express how incredibly decadent it was. I almost let Christmas pass without a liquor soaked dessert. Thank baby Jesus for a wonderful mother-in law who can read my mind.
